Experience has taught me that anyone can learn to play their favorite songs, to improvise, to create, and to hone their skills regardless of level or age.
With a vast amount of online resources nowadays it’s easier than ever to learn to play. It is also just as easy to get lost in the noise. The learning process is about consistency over time and I still believe there is no substitute for an experienced private teacher.
Someone with the ability to listen to and observe your playing up close, to clarify what you want to achieve, and to create a customised practice routine tailored to your individual needs. Accompanying you every step of the way..
Lessons are fun, pressure free, and focused on your own personal needs. All levels and ages are welcome. I have helped hundreds of students achieve their goals, from beginner children and adults through to seasoned players seeking to fill specific gaps in their knowledge.

The focus is always on you the student. Getting to know you and your own musical tastes rather than pushing my own is essential to yield the best results and get the most out of the learning process. I can help you demystify the guitar, bass guitar, applied music theory, music production & songwriting in a clear yet thorough way.

This first trial lesson is free and it’s purpose is to discuss your goals and for me to assess your technique and general level.
It is also for me to find out a bit about you, the music you like to listen to, the music you’d like to play and any previous experiences with any form of music tuition, self taught or otherwise so as to steer the lessons in the appropriate direction.

WHAT DO I NEED ?
An internet connection, an instrument, a quiet and comfy place where you won't be distracted, and a love for music! I simply send you a Zoom link to follow at the agreed date and time for each lesson.
HOW DO THE ONLINE LESSONS WORK ?
Up until recently a lot of people would have considered it a bad idea to take online music lessons. But the truth is it’s just as good as being in person and, in many ways, even better. You get to learn from the comfort of your own home, wasting no time in transport hassles with a teacher who is entirely focused on you. All lesson files, sheet music and practice exercises are sent straight to your email and the lessons can even be filmed so you receive an actual video of any current material to accompany you until the next lesson.
